Pots Sales at Vaneron Garden Center

Vaneron Garden Center is making an extended Mother's Day with its "Happy Mother's Day Pot Sales"

So why did I posted it in this blog? What's the relation with bonsai?
Well Vaneron Garden Centers is one of the rare places in Mauritius where you'll find various shapes and sizes of bonsai pots.
Now this sales promo also extends to those bonsai pots.
I did some homework for you guys [ and gals ] and here's a list of the various pots and current sales prices.

The list is pretty long and each pot comes in various sizes.

What else can you get there?
In addition to the bonsai pots, you can get also a vast selection of other types of "normal" pots and "cache pot".
There's also a large selection of plants and bonsai in various progression stages.
There's also various potting mixes [ soil mix, soil-less mix, orchid mix, perlite, pine barks, cocopeat, sphanum moss, etc ]
Ohh and there's the restaurant too with the river flowing next to it.

Forest Mallsai in sale at Espace Jardin [ Trianon ]

If anyone is interested to buy a small Forest Mallsai [ Mass produced bonsai for sale in Malls ], I found two on sale at Espace Jardin, Trianon.
The price tag is Rs 1500.
There's no indication of the tree species used, there is only "Bonsai" as plant description, but they seem to be a species of  Chinese Elm [ Ulmus ].

Only warning, when they say Indoor bonsai => Indoors in temperate climates [ ie climates that have freezing temperatures in winter ]
In our case [ Mauritius or tropical climate ] that's an Outdoor bonsai.

I don't know if there are more in other Espace Jarding centers scattered over the Island, but you could give them a call and see.

For a quick description:
There are two units for sale, both same price tag when I checked.
One has only two trees in the pot, the other has 4 trees.
Both have similar pots, deep blue glazed oval shaped with rounded walls.

If you want, you could repot them seperately after buying them.
That would make 1 bonsai at Rs750 for the one with only two plants in the same pot
Or 1 bonsai at Rs325 for the one with 4 plants in the same pot.

I'm not sure uptill when those two "mallsai" will be for sale, so if anyone is interest or just wants to have a look, well you know where to go.

Side note:
I'm not getting any tips or cash for this. Its free advise, I saw it, its not to my taste, but others might like it.
