The first styling of an ordinary looking material into a kengai [Cascade Style] is simply awesome. That material will be beautiful in the future as it matures.
The second styling is also interesting in my eyes, I am assuming that the first styling of the second Pinus Sylvestris was done by Jan Culek, if that is so, it feels like there has been an evolution in the way the bonsaika is visualizing the future/structure of the tree.
The initial styling had near T-bar styled branches, which still looked good, but lacked that little visual extra to make the tree look stunning. The new style gives a more mature look to the tree I.M.O.
